During the authum Promessa Organic will start work to create a noncommercial foundation. The purpose is to work with the noncommercial questions concerning the organic life cycle. A new homepage will be established: promessa foundation.org will start and be linked to www.promessa.se
The foundation will enable those who want to support these thoughts to contribute, financially or with knowledge, to the purpose of spreading information about the organic life cycle.
The Dutch Funeral Exhibition was held in Jaarbeurs exhibition complex in Utrecht the 16-18 September. The theme of the exhibition was Trends and Development, and approximately 130 exhibitors participated.
In connection with the opening, Susanne Wiigh-Mäsak gave a lecture on ecological funerals to the Dutch press followed by time for questions. The interest was great, and three Dutch TV-companies broadcasted from the event the same evening with comments from Susanne.
The media attention had an immediate effect on the number of visitors to Promessa's homepage. Between Friday and Tuesday the 21 of September, more than 220 visited the homepage. Since we started to count, the visits from the 15th of June, more than 2400 people have logged on, or 22 people per day from all parts of the world except the Antarctic.
The interest in Promessa also rose considerably on Google, one of the largest search engines on the Inter net. A search for "Swedish company" sites, places Promessa in the top ten - out of more than 3 million hits.
During the summer Andric van Es has joined Promessa. As a key executive team member Andric will contribute to the development of the organisation. He is experienced in international business development, professional services, and collaborative networks.
Andric has worked with a wide range of clients, profit and non profit, in business services, trade and industries, both in The Netherlands and internationally. A concept and methodology of "Organic Circle and Life Science" will be put in place and will emphasise the development of the Promessa organisation.
In November of this year a large exhibition will be held in Asia. The 2:nd International Forum in Shanghai/China. The theme for the exhibition is Funeral and Environment.
Peter van Schaik, pr-manager for the FIAT/IFTA has been invited by The Shanghai Funeral and Interment Service to hold a seminar on the theme for the exhibition.
During his seminar, in cooperation with Promessa Organic, Peter van Schaik will give a short briefing about ecological funerals. The interest for the method is very great throughout Asia.
